Protected and kept cool by a rugged aluminum enclosure, the Elite can achieve blazing transfer speeds. With neither external power nor installation required, you can connect the Elite to a computer right out of the box. The Mobile Elite is a recent addition to the Qmemory product line.The highest performing 2.5" external hard drive, the Elite is ideally suited for intense mobile-computing tasks. Due to the variation of PC's hardware working environment, the host USB power supply may be inadequate at times. If the computer's bus cannot deliver adequate power to the device through any single USB port, two ports can be used with the included USB Y-Cable. This is only likely to happen on legacy machines still utilizing the USB 1.1 specification. |
